Brake line install

anyone put on SS brake lines. I am about to replace mine and wanna know if the thing holding the brake lines (rubber flexable and metal hose) in place is a clip?

The metal C-clip hold the brake line to that bracket so it doesnt dangle. Use pliars to pull out the clip. Use a flare nut wrench to separate the metal hard line from the flex line so as not to strip the nut.

Yea, pretty standard brake setup.

I'll reiterate what was said above: USE A FLARE NUT WRENCH.

It's closed ended 6 point wrench with a small gap to get it around the brake line. You *will* round out the flare nut with a normal box wrench, and if it gets bad enough you won't be able to get the flare nut wrench on. It's a cheap tool that's really very useful. You can actually use it on the bleeder screws too, if you get an 8mm/10mm wrench (though I have a separate tool for the bleeders).
