Brake Light?

My brake light has been on lately  and it goes off if I take wide turns and then comes back on shortly  . I checked the Brake Fluid level and it is at max...whats the problem

Yup

I dont mean to steal this thread but would a constant seat belt light have any meaning to something like a loose belt(cant think of anything off the top of my head)?

Tech_Greek 09-02-05 07:55 PM

There are sensors for the seat belt, they can go bad.

not to jack the tread.....but i wanted to say thanks Tech Greek for your write up on the door locks. fixed mine last week and its the best thing i have done for my gf in a long while.

The sensor could be bad, or a loose wire. Is it when you turn both directiosn, or only one?

if your brake light is constantly on it means you have low brake fluid.

The reservoir is at max. Is there somewhere else?

Check your rear lights, the bulbs.

Icemark 09-03-05 12:04 PM

could also be a stuck float in the brake master, or a stuck switch in the hand brake assembly.

No, that would be the "Stop" light/warning in the idiot light panel.

Oh crap, my bad, when I had my problems with the brake light and stop light, I kinda fixed them all at once. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I knew better :(.
