Bosch 2200cc injector help
 

Hello I have a s4 swapped 1st gen Rx7, I'm contemplating buying some bosch 2200 high impedence injectors to run on my secondaries (I'm on ms3pro). I'm trying to find out what size injector caps to get to adapt it to the 11mm oem fuel rails, the reason I am going this route is because I can see it being cheaper than buying ID2000s which are pretty similar (not saying identical because I don't want to be the one to open that jar of worms) haha.

Without doing the work myself :) there is probably an easy way to find the BOSCH dimensions on the ol'Internet there. From there, companies like Racetronix sell a variety of bottom and top caps. For the top, you may just be able to get away with shortening the fuel rail uprights. Most injectors have a very similar bottom section and can be adapted without much trouble by just swapping O-rings.

It's not necessarily the bottom section of the injector that puzzles me, more so the top, right now the only injectors I have are the T2 injectors and I would like to avoid pulling them
Out of the car just to find the measurement of the stock injector, I was searching all day yesterday trying to find the measurements for the stock injector but couldn't find it, you convinced me in a previous thread of going to a more modern injector and I'm glad you convinced me! I'm in the midst of doing my fuel system for the turbo setup and I'm trying to do it for around $600-700, to stay in my budget haha

I am mainly trying to avoid buying injectors that I won't be able to make work without buying aftermarket fuel rails, I've tried searching for some write ups on FC Bosch injector swaps but all I found were the old ev1 style so it doesn't really help me with the EV14 styles

The RX-8 injectors are the same dimension at top and bottom, if it helps. Drops right into place.

If you do a Google image search for "EV1 injector dimensions" then you will get a load of pages showing various injector measurements. When I did it, the 2nd or so picture showed the FC style Denso injector. They were a common injector at the time, and most cars used the same o-ring dimensions (have loads of these injectors in a bucket...I just grab them by the handful when at the wreckers and buy in bulk...I don't know why).

Racetronix sells a LOAD of injector related stuff including adapter hats to fit those shorties.

Those look like a similar style to what I used on my Cosmo for secondaries. But I have custom injector holders. Using RX-8 as primaries.
