BOOST problems?
 

i just got a 1987 turbo II and it has boost problems. the only thing i can think that it might be is it needs a new turbo or gaskets maybe. maybe that mass air flow sensor. im just learning about the car so i was hopping to get some feedback to help me get started. thanks

it might help to state what exactly is wrong with your boost? Does it boost but not all the way? Does it not boost at all? Just woundering.

the boost will go up to 8 but then fall to like 3 then up to 5. boost works its just not constant it scrambles.

prolly turbo going out in it. you might want to take the tid off of it and check for shaft play and how freely it spins.
