When it comes down to it, mechanical is only superior in price; they are significantly cheaper. Electrical tend to react faster, have remote boost sensors (only need to run wires into cockpit), and come with extra gooides such as warning and peak boost functions. Moreso, I would be more concerned with brand than electrical vs. mechanical. |

should have clairifed. i use machanical and electronic gauges daily, of course electronic gauges will react faster but not worth the extra cash unless you like the added features imo.
