Boost controller ?s.
 

Im getting a turbo 87. Hes taking out the boost controller but he still has the S-AFC intake and exaust. What can happen without this?. Boost spike or just lower boost. Thier 87 wastegate is small I heard wich causes boost spikes. Anyways can someone give me the lowdown.

It will spikw withor without the controller if the exhaust is too big for the wastegate. Removing the EBC will lower boost, and it won't build boost as quick. No ill effects, just lower performance.

well if you have an S-AFC you shouldn't worry to much, except for boost creep, I'd go buy one of the Manual Boost Controller until you can save the big bucks for for an EBC, or you could just port the waste gate, becarefule the manifold is very brittle.

Correction. He has no exaust. Just boost controller , FCD and S-AFC...He said he ran a 13.1 at 13psi in all gears with a 45 percent duty cycle on the AVCR. Does this sound right. The s-afc was around 20-38 percent rich at points.
