body kits, exhaust?
I have a 91 non turbo and was wondering what are some good/cool body kits for 2nd gen? also if i run straight pipe an 2 mufflers, header and down pipe would muffler silencers be enough to make it not so rice or is it ok w/out silencers?

http://www.corksport.com Or google RX-7 bodykits. I personly love the RE Anemieya (SP?) and the Bomex body kit, but everyone has their own opinion. Check: http://www.rx7store.net for racing beat compents and a good non-loud exhaust is also racing beat or http://www.rx7.com and their RP exhaust. Overall try to check some sound bites and see which you perfer also. Have fun! |
thanks

RIce is when your car sounds like a vacume or sounds like its flyign while your doing 15mph. If you have straight pipes and some decent mufflers you dont have to worry. If you do put silencers in be sure to screw them in tight, my screws shook themselves loose over the course of a few drives and then shot across my garage when I backfired. It was kinda cool but could have ben a lawsuit fi ti happened while driving.

These are the only body kits(not including the huge wing) that I ever really liked. They are expensive too.... |

I think the Bomex kit is still the way to go even after two years after I fitted mine. At the $1,000 range of price, it's quality and looks are worth every penny.
