Body Kit

Not wanting to be deemed ricer or anything, but is there a rear bumper replacement made so that when the corksport turbo back or another single exit exhaust is used there won't just be a recess for a second muffler that isn't there. Just wonderiing, little things like that bother me.

Fill it in yourself.
It is not hard at all.

Thanks again, the build will definately be underway when I decide what order I'm supposed to do stuff in. Right now the top of the priority list is my front mount, radiator, 3'' Corksport turbo-back, some Fuel Managment Unit I've seen mentioned a couple times but can't remember w/ built in FCD, and the list could go on forever.

I just wanna get a nice and by nice I mean good fitting rear replacement to lower my back bumper a little so its more in line with the front and side lines. But basically I have been told by the body shop I am talking to that its hard to find a good quality replacement body kit/part. Since most of the ones you see have been professionally installed and fixed to make it look like its a good deal.

So I wonder if anyone knows from experience something that will be high quality and not need modding in any real excess just to make it work.

Thank you

OEM bumpers.

Truth is that EVERY kit, no matter who makes it, will - WILL - require excessive work to make perfect. Now the level of excessiveness varies - a premium fitment kit like a Bomex one will require alignment of gaps, body work on every inch of the piece and brackets made to secure everything - a P.O.S kit will require elevated levels of the above mentioned work.

As a side note....most (I said most, there are exceptions) every no name or replica kit Ive had my hands on at the shop may as well be thrown in the trash for the amount of work it would take (or did take) to make them even half way decent..........keep it in mind when you're pricing kits - saving $200 might cost you 1500 in labour at the shop....
