Block of Plate for Sub Zero starting system.
I bought block off plates a while back but it didn't include a block off plate for the subzero starting system. Does any one know some one that sells them?
Thanks in advance Stefan 88t2 |
In a pinch, always helps to have a piece of flat metal around.
make a stencil of the area with paper, transfer to the metal.Cut and there ya go. Oh by the way, gasket material is cheap too. I had to make my own block offs when I decided to put an Fd upper on.Tedious but it Worked. |

Nice thanks guys that was some great fast help. misterstyx69 what metal did you use? SS? And how thick was it. My block off plates that I currently have are SS but they would be to thick to cut with sheers and I don't have a plasma cutter handy.. What did you use?

This is one of those projects that's been sitting on my back burner for a while. Thanks for the link, arghx. These guys have a stainless steel block-off plate for $10 with the hardware. For that price and given the tight curves on the shape, no way trying to make it myself would be worthwhile.
I did notice that their only listing for the sub-zero start assist block-off plate is on the '89-91 NA page, so if you're looking for it, check there. |
Has any one ever tried to convert this to a water meth injector?
