blinker/flasher/turnsignal not working...searched

i have a 91 vert.

here is the situation i have:
1. my turn signal, harzard signal is not working.
There is no light flashing at the dash cluster either.
fuse is okay.
when turn on headlight, the turn signal light is on, meaning the buld is good.
Hear clicking sound when turn on signal, but no flashing on dash and buld.
Hear no clicking sound when turn on harzard signal.
2. i tried 6 different flasher CPU, same result: no flashing, but hear clicking
tried a different CPU, same result: no flashing, but hear clicking

so yeah, i dont know what else to do. can someone help.

The hazard lights in my 91 vert did not work because the path on the circuit board in the switch had burnt up. I soldered a jumper wire in and it fixed it. I am not sure about you turn signals though. Are the bulbs good? The sockets on some of my bulbs had gone bad from corrosion. Check that. Is the clicking quick or normal?

yeah. the bulbs is good. it is clicking normally.

if the switch is out, then why do i hear clicking when i signal left of right?

Indyparts 12-11-08 11:37 PM

If you turn your switch to a left/right position and hear a click, that doesn't mean that your switch is telling the lights to turn on/off. That is just one step of the switch.

thank for al your help. i got it fix...it was not the switch, not the cpu, it was the hazard fuse. it was loose.
