you know that fuse has atleast one bolt thru the side of the terminal right? I think both sides of the fuse terminals are bolted to the battery and alternator charging wires.

yea i just noticed that last night when i thinking of some troubleshooting......i replaced it but still nothing works....checked the fuses near clutch and i blew two 7.5 fuses....replaced them and still nothing is happening....i have a new battery and still i get nothing....could it be a bad ground?

Define *get nothing*. No action when the key is turned to START? And if that is true, do the headlights work?

If the above describes *get nothing*, I'd say the wire that feeds the ignition key is disconnected or burnt up and disconnected. It runs from a single connector about three to six inches below the engine fuse box. Black in character. Must be connected for the ignition switch to work.

if you think it is the ground (disclaimer: if it is not, this will not help):

Get a set of jumper cables and connect end to the neg on the battery and the other end on a nice clean part of the engine. See if that does anything.

yeah, check the Ground, as robfeltner said... if the main fuse (usually) blew because of a bad ground, nothing will work until u fix that ground... thats how i wasted 10 bucks on 2 main fuses and then i finally found out my main ground was dead.

as i said, NOTHING will work, u won't even see the idiot lights when u turn the key...
check your grounds most importantly the main ground wire

If the wire that feeds the ignintion switch is disconnected or burnt intwo, the headlights will still work BUT the idiot light cluster will not work nor any function controlled by the ignition switch.

So if you have headlights but no ignition switch functions, fix the ignition switch feed wire.

I ask this of all people who blow the main fuse...

Is the battery hooked up correctly?
