Black, drippy oil

Hey guys, i went to add some coolant to my turbo 2 today and thought i'd go ahead and check my oil while i was in there and it was ever so black and dripping off the dipstick. the oil isnt that old i changed it back in november but put very little miles on it since. Do you guys think it just needs an oil change? or do i have a serious issue on my hands?

It is really difficult to analyze oil simply by looking at it. If you are concerned about it, send out a sample for analysis. A cheapie $30 analysis will be fine for your purposes.

Good point, I forgot that most people don't realize that it takes some time to burn off condensation.

its been about 40 degrees or so. the car hasn't been run today at all either, maybe thats part of it? i had trouble passing inspection a while back and ended up taking it to rotary performance and they activated my acv and ever since its been running odd, rough cold starts especially..

I thought condensation in oil was white. Anyway the color doesn't really tell us much except that the oil is doing its job at dissolving crud. Whether or not extra crud is being generated is unknown. Regardless an oil change would be a temporary fix at best.
