Big Problem

I just got my car back. I have a 89gxl with a t2 motor, tranny, and haltech f10x. Everything was running fine, until i went to change the plugs. I couldn't get 3 of them out so i called the mechanic he said to leave it he'll change them. Now it seems like the motor is flooded or something. I tried push starting, pull starting, everyway you think i can to get the car started just so i can drive it to his shop. When i'd try to hit the gas pedal, it seems to have a delay or something. My friend and i think it has to do with the distributer, maybe i hit something when struggling with the plugs. Anyone have any idea what to do?? I need help a.s.a.p. or my pops said he wants me to junk it. Don't really want to junk it after i spent so much$$$ so far. Any ideas?

Thanks

We don't have distributors...

Check to be certain there is spark and that the plug wires are placed correctly on the correct plus e.g. leading to lower plugs, trailing to the proper plug.
If so, take the one plug out and see if it's wet with fuel. On the '89 you can hold the pedal to the floor to stop the fuel, or just pull the egi fuse to clean it out.

I checked all the wires, the plug was BLACK, and i'm going to try the fuse thing.

So what is the actual problem? Will the car start? How does it run?

It's very difficult to understand your first post.

But I agree with checking to make sure the wires are on the right plug. Common mistake by "mechanics".
