Best Exhaust for TII Convertible

i recently was gonna buy a TII exhaust system from Racingbeat i was told it didnt fit, some people say it fits by removing some frame piece or support of some sort to clear the downpipe well i been looking at the Apexi systems N1 and Gt, N1 is single and dual but its not a full system GT is from the cat back needs fabrication of a down pipe so those my options i want a catless system for maximum power with low noise i currently have a Dynomax (TOO LOUD) but i will be swapping a tII so i need a tII exhaust

The RB exhaust replaces the stock exhaust. There are no other modifications needed. Whoever told you it wouldn't fit doesn't know what he's talking about.

i think it has to do with the reinforcemnt of the vert.....ASK ICEMARK though....he'll know

Actually, its true the exhaust won't fit a convertable there is a structural brace that only the verts have that is in the way. I ran into the same problem. They do have one that will fit though. Call em back and ask.

What the hell. I had this exhaust on my turbo vert for 2 years. It fits with only minor modification...use a torch or a cutoff tool to trim about 1/4" of material off of the crossbar that runs under the engine. IT will not harm the crossbar structurally.

edit

ok so I missed this is a TII vert. First call RB and ask them. If they don't sell the exact part get some flanges from RB and have an exhaust shop replicate their part with the extra bend.

Perhaps you didnt read well enough...this is going to be a TURBO convertible...that's NA stuff you posted.

Vert exhaust

I put the 3" Racing beat dual exhaust on my vert and everything bolted right up.

I had no trouble installing it on my turbo vert, fit great.

I have a Greddy Power Extreme on my TII vert and it fits perfect. It looks and sounds awsome and you can actually feel a difference in performance. You should check it out if you haven't already.

I have the dynomax on my n/a vert, definitely too loud. Plus im not real fond of the sound. Definitely would reccomend it.

it has one of the nicest tones of any exhaust nothing beats a dynomax but it is way loud
