Brand? Model?

bingoboy 09-26-05 07:56 PM

Shoulda went with 225 :).

Are those Intrax springs any stiffer than the oem ones or are they just lower...I remembered their regular set being a bunch lower without firming up at all.

Molotovman 09-26-05 07:59 PM

POST THE SUPER GHETTO SOUTH DAKOTA EXHUAST AGAIN!

and yeah, take some side pics.

aznpoopy 09-26-05 08:05 PM

that's surprising

7+40 doesn't look too bad on a FC at all.

on a 240sx those would be sunken like all hell.

Definately stiffer. As for lower, I could only tell two ways:

1) Jack doesn't fit under cross member
2) exhaust doesn't fit over curb (wheb backing up)
3) bumper doesn't fir over curb

ddub 09-27-05 11:27 AM

Don't you hate jacking the car up when it's lowered?

At least you can fit your jack under the bumper, though you can't get it under the cross member. My jack doesn't even go under the bumper... I have to drive/push it up onto blocks of wood before jacking it up :p:

This is true! Thats either very low, or you need one of the low profile jacks from craftsman :P

Ground Control coilovers slammed all the way in front with RB 3/4" lowering strut tops :p:

See, I had eibach pro kit springs before this, and my jack fit under everything fine... Now, not a chance. I still need my front camber plates, which will probably make it even lower, might have to raise it up at that point :)

And I know all too well about that rear camber!
http://home.comcast.net/~rx7pics/gc/4.jpg

Have you decided what kind of camber adjuster you're going to use?

Kenteth 09-27-05 05:23 PM

I haven't looked much into it. By eyeing it, it appears the camber on the passenger side tire is a little less severe than that of the driverside, so I'm thinking about plates in the front, and I believe RB or Mazdatrix had a unit to adjust each rear wheel independently (not the camber rear suspension link).

ddub 09-27-05 05:26 PM

Mazdatrix, yup. Independent rear camber adjusters, they go in place of the camber links, I have them on my car :)

They work great, can dial out tons of camber, or just a little, very nice units.

Kenteth 09-27-05 07:31 PM

Good to hear something about them, probably going to go that route.

Wizz 09-27-05 07:44 PM

I have the same springs. Do you have any tire rubbing?

Kenteth 09-27-05 07:49 PM

Tireshop measured, they did a great job, no rubbing.
