A beautiful thing :-)
Just cleaning the yard and spoted a beautiful thing ... just thought I'd share
A couple shots of the pair in the garage, and then some closeups of the purple paint to give you a better idea of the real color. https://www.rx7club.com/members/images/rscott/pair1.jpg https://www.rx7club.com/members/images/rscott/pair2.jpg https://www.rx7club.com/members/imag...ott/paint1.jpg https://www.rx7club.com/members/imag...ott/paint2.jpg |

Ya I like the purple. I love those colors that you never see. Mine will be carolina blue eventually. But not till its fast enough to live up to the out-standing color :D
|
That's purty. And while I'm thinking about it. Have you noticed an increased number of FC's in the area lately? I see them pretty frequently now and it's not the same couple all the time. There's one for sale in o'fallon on my way to work that I've been thinking about stopping an looking at but haven't.

I should have the Fikse FM/10's on it next week :D

is that the corksport bumper or real border? it doesn't look to low, I think the 89-91 chin spoiler would be lower right?
if it's the corksport whats the qual like? can you fit the stock fogs in there? looks like you can. |
theres a black GTU for sale by me. I want it :-D
and yes that purple is gorgeous. |

To avoid scratches in the paints exterior [the swirl marks in your purple paint], use a thick, terrycloth towel instead of a sponge or tightly woven material. The sponge and woven material can catch little pieces of dirt and drag it all across your car's finish. The terrycloth towel is thicker and can absorb dirt into the nap of the towel. Then you wont have those nasty looking marks when the sun shines! I did this with my new paint job, and it looks better than some 2002 model cars that have been washed just a couple times poorly... hope that helps for next time~!

Both the cars are mine ... the red one is the 90 Vert. |
I think you took my definition of "scratches" incorrectly. The swirl marks are clearly visible on your hood, and you can avoid getting those by doing what I mentioned above. Take a closer look at the picture you took -- notice the swirls radiate out concentrically from the light source shining on the hood? You can only see those in certain light, but you could avoid getting them next time!
