Are BBS vert wheels still worth anything?

I've been out of the 7 game for awhile, but I still have a set of BBS vert wheels in my shed. Before I put them on my son's janky '92 Ford Ranger (currently sitting on mis-matched wheels), I figured I should see if they're worth selling.

This is not a for-sale post.

I would say a nice set is worth 3 or 4 hundred bucks. A crappy set, $50-$100 But you will never know until you try to sell them. Then you have to find wheels for the ford.

Personally I love them for the looks and the weight.
I sold my last set and was suprised that I got a LOW price for them..nobody wanted to buy them.
BUT that isn't to say that someone will pay what they want to pay and agree to your p[rice if they want them!

wheels dont seem to be going for much these days, mostly because it seems a lot of people are reverting their mods or going more tasteful, so there seems to be a flood of parts out there.

It's tough to justify buying those vert wheels, because with a little more hunting and for around the same price, you can get a set of Crown Vic meshies. They're bigger, wider, have more dish, and are similarly light/well-made.

Thanks for replies. After doing some research, apparently Rangers have negative offset stock, and FC wheels are 40mm positive (correct me if I'm wrong). If I'm going with bigger tires, I might end up selling (or trading) these anyways to buy some negative offset wheels, to avoid clearance issues.

edit: ooo, I've got a fancy 15-year badge.

I'd say they aren't worth much more than $300, as previously stated. The Crown Vic's are a better looking mesh in my opinion as well. Wouldn't hurt to list them for sale if you're sick of looking at them though!

I say keep them if they're in really good condition, especially if you have a full set of center caps and the tool. Eventually, the last few really good parts will skyrocket in price (eventually meaning thirty years from now lol).
