It should not be ticking if the key is off. Are you sure its the BAC? Pulled its plug off and it stops ticking? to prove it was/is the BAC?
If you pull the plug off and it stops, that means that when you remove the key that that act isn't turning off the the Main Relay and the battery will drain down in a couple of hrs. If it's true that it's the BAC and it's ticking with the key off/out..............then reach over there in the engine compartment and pull the EGI COMP fuse. IF the ticking stops that act proves, to me at least, that the Main Relay isn't relaxing when the key is turned to OFF and is still feeding all things associated witht the EGI COMP fuse. |
