I NEED big ole' help installing this UNIT on my 88 TII..
I have seen threads on this subject but it was mostly for FDs..
Anyone who has this unit on their FC, please help me install this thing..Maybe a picture of *you* installing it or web page would be wonderful..
School is finally out for me so I have tons of time to do this properly.:D

check out www.fc3s.org he has a write up on it. I personally installed the AVC R on my 88 Turbo so if you want detailed instructions drop me a e mail.

Was it worth the money? Have you tried anything else. And isn't that the the one that can be hooked up to a speed meter or some such device for all sorts of crazy tuning options, anyone try that?

I have the AVCR it didnt take that long to install. I use it with a Haltec.
they online thing that slowed me down was finding the speed singal.

other than that is was a snap to install.

The only problem I have had with the AVCR is that is
from a stop to 5th gear it works perfect ( like drag racing )
but
from a roll like in 3 gear I get boost spikes that is past what I set the boost limit too.
i mean if Im cusing like 40 in 3rd gear and just punch it it will spike around 5500rpm.
I have not found a way to fix it.
also other people who have AVCR who I have talked with have said the same thing about over boost from a roll but worked fine in a drag race
