Autopower rollbar-FC w/automatic seat belts

Just installed an Autopower rollbar and would like to pass on a bit of wisdom about the install. My S5 has the automatic seat belts and, apparently, Autopower does not take that into consideration when fabricating the custom-fabricated bar for the FC. The motors for the auto seat belts are located behind the seats on both sides. They are obvious by the bulges in the side trim behind which they are located.

Unfortunately, there is no way to get the rear rollbar feet/supports past those bulges and no way to slip them on the main part of the rollbar after positioning the main part in the car. So, if you have these bastard seat belts, and are planning on installing the custom-fabricated FC Autopower roll bar, plan on removing the trim panel on one side, removing the bolts holding the seat belt motor to the body and swinging it out of the way as you work the rear feet beyond that point. Then follow that with feeding the side trim panel back into place--another PIA.

So there you go. If anyone needs moral support or additional information with this install, shoot me a PM. BTW, the Autopower rollbar is otherwise a high quality product that installs nicely once this difficulty is overcome.

Im opting on a rollbar for my 91. I allready have a corbeau racing seat and 5 point harnes . I eliminated de auto seat belt on the conductor side and was considering eliminating the passenger side and put a older style seat belt. gues ill finichthe job before getting the I/o rollbar.

yeah, i had the same (if you wanna call it a problem) problem.... after removing a few things in the way, it went on pretty smootly... i even kept my seats in... but i opted to pay extra for the removable bars... which helped when installing it
