autometer gauge installed, boost not working...

I just installed an autometer boost gauge and it dosent work.

The light works but I have yet to get the boost gauge to move.

I put a T fitting tapped into the boost sensor but obviously its not getting a reading..

How am I supposed to tap the clear vacuum hose onto the 1/8" Tee?
I shoved it in there pretty good and put a bit of tape around just to hold it on there..

whats one way I can test the boost sensor for proper operation? I also have some boosting problems above 4k-rpms

use a piece of silicone hose off the "t" and push the clear hose INSIDE the silicone hose and then zip tie evertything tight.... tape aint gonna work. Use a piece of silicone hose that is about the same inside diameter as the OUTSIDE daimeter of the clear hose.

shouldnt I be getting a small bounces on the gauge either way?

Go from pressure sensor and this nipple on the passenger side of the engine bay (there is a nippe a few inches below the intercool if you look. Tee in your boost gauge and that should be it. The gauge should bounce as your idle changes or you rev.

I believe I have already tapped into the right hose.
Anybody happen to have a pic of the pressure sensor and where the vaccum hose goes to?

The pressure sensor is located at the passenger side strut tower. Just run it from the pressure sensor to a tee close to where the location of the stock BOV is and then use the line from the intake manifold into the other side of the T. The third side of the T should be the line from your boost gauge.

Blow into the hose/line. Did the needle rise? It did? Then I suspect your boost/pressure sensor is also not seeing pressure. Answer this or riddle me this.....when driving the car and boosting, does the stock gauge needle move???? Yes? Then your new boost gauge is not tapped into a good source. NO? Then your boost/pressure gauge is not tapped into a good source on the manifold OR your turbo is ....not boosting no mo.
