Auto ECU in a manual car

I removed my ECU to do some electrical checks relating to the OMP. For the first time I notice some orange writing on the ECU's shell, like how junkyards mark parts they sell.

"91 Mazda RX7 A/TRANS"

So for the past five years that I've had this car...a manual car has been run by an auto ECU. Precisely what performance/economy issues does this cause?

(Very long story behind the car. Engine is not original. Biiiig splice bundle halfway up the harness to the engine from the firewall too. :D )

there isn't a different ecu for an automatic, so it won't cause any issue at all.

N350-18-880 is california non turbo coupe
N351-18-880 is federal non turbo coupe
N352-18-880 is california non turbo convertible
N353-18-880 is a federal non turbo convertible
