Anywhere to get r-magic wide fenders now?
seems like raceonusa is gone and rhdjapan didn't have em on their site so anyone know if you can still get r magic fenders for the FC? I am interested in the front fenders. this is the kit I am referring to.

anyone heard anything about octanemotorsports.com? their pricing and parts selection seems similar to raceonusa so was wondering about there quality for body parts. only place I've found the r-magic fenders.
|
I saw this kit on Ebay. It was not sold by any compny but it was available from Maryland. I believe it was 700 to 1000 i have not seen it latley.

hope that works for you.

ya, problem with that is I just want the front fenders and It will be really freaking hard to sell the rest of the kit off as its not very popular. I loath the front bumper and don't really care for the rear quarters either. I would like to get the sideskirts as well but I can probably fab my own, skirts are easy to make, the fenders would be difficult.
that ebay ad did have a pretty good price though. thanks for the help anyway man, might just try out that octanemotorsports company. if I pay with paypal and inspect upon delivery then I should be able to return them if anything is iffy. not expecting perfect fitment for the price though. |
That is the ugliest kit I have ever seen. Why is there a vent on a fucking quarter panel?!
If you get the front fenders, it looks as if you would need the side skirt as well to match, unless you do some modifying. |
you could contact them and see if they'd separate after the auction ends. probably a long shot, but if you can't find them anywhere else what else can you do?
|
basically I wanna do some brake vents on that big open part of the back of the front fenders. like this but the tamon fenders are expensive. I'm cheaping out.lol. I don't like the rest of the r magic kit really other then maybe the skirts but I will be blending them into my rear quarters at the top so the line is smoother. basically just trying to almost copy the kit on the tec art FC, without using tamon stuff so modifying somewhat. it won't be too hard and I will save a boat load of cash staying away from tamon design. they do make the best wide kit for an FC though imo, just can't afford it.

Shineauto 30mm fenders, those r-magic ones look like add.
|
These what you are looking for? http://www.grounddynamics.com/Type-2...-p/rac3383.htm
|
that site has just the rear fenders, no fronts that I saw. was looking for the fronts. I have a couple sources now though, thanks for the help anyway.
|
that e bay company wont split the kit i already talked to them ken at shine didnt know where to get just the finders and side skirts either if you find a place let me know im looking for the finders and side skirts too...
|
ya man.
skirts at (heard chaser might be iffy quality. for the price of the skirts, I would hope its decent) http://www.aerokits.net/cart/index.p...th=75_203_1260 chaser also has the front fenders but this site had them 20 bucks cheaper when I calculated the shipping for myself. no skirts though and the fender pics have chasers watermark so its about the same. http://www.octanemotorsports.com/Maz...328/index.html at those prices and looking at the sites, I'm not expecting a bolt on affair. probably ok quality but need sanding, galssing to make them fit right. |

hmmm, I don't recall. I did know at one point but forget now. they are either 25 or 30mm over. not more then 30. I want to say 25mm because I remember that on raceonusa the model was listed as 255 or 225 or something like that and I believe it corresponed to the width over. you'll have to buy them and find out so you can size your wheels appropriately I guess.lol. I ended up jumping on a deal for a 240z resto project so my funds went that way for a bit.lol, someday I'll get these.
