Anyway to stop an already ported wastegate from creeping?

Alright, well I dont know what is causing this, but for some reason Im getting some crazy boost creep on my BNR Stage 2 turbo.

While driving tonight, temp outside around 60-62* F I got in it in 3rd at 50mph, about 4k RPM. My aftermarket gauge quickly shot to about 5.5psi, about right. But, then it started to creep past that, hitting 7.5 then 10. By this time I was probably at about 5-5.5K RPM and it proceeded to continue past 10psi on its way to 15 but I let off right around 12.5psi.

What gives? Why am I expericing this? I thought the whole reason to port the WG was so it wouldnt creep. Im not using any boost control right now, just the WG port connected to the pressure source at the outlet of the compressor.

Is there anything I can do to fix this issue other than port the WG more, which Im not about to do.

I really wouldn't expect you to see much less than 10psi, but 15psi is a LOT of creep with the stock 5.5psi spring. Have you taken off the turbo and inspected everything? It's a real stretch, but maybe something is jamming up the WG arm (or something), and it's not actuating correctly?

I assume you've got a larger diameter flapper welded on there with that BNR turbo right? It would be worth checking it out if you're not 100% sure what's going on.
