Anyone Running A Water Injection Kit/???

thinking about going with a water injection kit on my stock t2 intercooler. if anyone has one please let me know how is it? works good? Pros and Cons?and around how much do they run for? some guy said I could get one for about $300 but he recommended me one thats around $450, He said it has some sort of clogg sensor. :dunno:

probably means clog sensor, as in to sense when the pipes are clogged. A lot more FD guys run water injection. Try searching around on their forums for information.

no real disadvantage to it... i have the coolingmist deluxe kit w/ the controller and clog nozzle.......

i mean, 20psi on pump gas....... cant go wrong w/ that!:) gotta love it! very basic and effective, even for people running lower boost.... its just another safety feature! keeps the intake temps down

I was thinking about getting one, but the thing is I'd only use it on the track. If you use it on the street, youd be going through water like mad

Thank you for your replys. Im thinking of using it for a daily driver, I dont think ill mind going through water like that. YOU guys think 15lbs is pretty safe or not? right now im running 10 on a haltech.

15lbs is pretty dangerous on a stock intercooler. Anything over 11-12 is not recommended. I'd go with a good front-mount. Or, if you have some more money and time, a V-mount :D

Dangerous? even with a water injection kit? I know that the stock mount could hold 12lbs without any injections. I know ill be pretty hot, but I figured and heard that you could boost up to 20lbs with that kit on a stock mount. At least thats what they claim....

Better to be safe then sorry. And it may get to where you forget to fill up with water, then go boosting 15lbs. I'd go front mount, you'll pretty much have to in the long run anyway
