Any problems running regular?

Okay, when i bought my car they told me to run nothing but premium, does rotaries need supreme? It costs 20$ just for a half tank of gas with supreme.....that's ridiculous! Is there any problems with regular or no???

NA's run best on 87 octane.

liv 11-10-05 11:49 PM

yea low octane is the best for n/as

if you can find 85 it'll save you even more and its better for it to

dont forget your premix eather if your new to the rotary world

87 is best for the rotary N/A, but I would recommend a decent quality fuel. Shell or Chevron.

Yeah regular is fine. $20 for a half tank is normal though, a little more than $40 fills me up.

87 is reccomended for N/A, absolutely no reason to run any higher. Do a search and you can read several discussions about it.

is it different for pfcmooney if his car ran premium its whole entire life??? i hope not though

i no its bad to run premium in a piston engine its whole life and then switch to shit regular gas

but ya....lower the octane the better for N/A
