any pics of FC's with stang wheels?

I have heard of putting stang wheels on our cars and I can't find the damn thread where the pics are at:mad: If you have any pics of FC with stang wheels please post them... I'm a cheap ass and want 17's but don't have the money for some really nice ones so until then I'll get some stang wheels... the more variation of stang rims the better!

Sir Rupert Hobo

I know he has them, in gunmetal, there's a picture of his beautiful "Jenna" in every SIG of his...

They fit nice, other than protruding out ever so slightly in the front... still looks great IMO

if you get them, save yourself and get camber plates.

there are already 10 threads about them, also one in the archives.

that looks good! some of the threads don't have the pics showing up.... that's why I was asking...

I'm a dumbass... :o: I just saw the search link...

well, i didn't think i would have the issues, BUT when i push it HARD, it rubs a little. it's not the fact that i'm running too low, i'm not running low enough. i think i still have the stock hight. i need to lower it about an inch more and then i will have more neg. camber up front.

i have GC coils... i think they are 8"... i need a 7" spring.

my spring rate is 275. i'm also thinking about changing my spring rate to around 350:front and 225:rear.

i'll be giving ground control a call soon so i can send the coils to them so they can change it.

also, my tire size up front is 235.

here's a pic of my FC with 18x9's with 275's front and rear. they aren't mine, i "borrowed" them to take a pic to see how they'd look.

whoa those look huge on the car... look good but still huge... by the way Fstrnyou... are there any good shops for rotary cars up there? I live in columbus and can't find a decent mechanic to save my life.

fstrnyou 04-30-04 02:29 PM

nah man, not a one. i have a friend from savannah that is helping me build my motor. he's also doing the porting for me.

the wheels look huge cause the tires are too tall, they came off a saleen. their tires are taller than ours. they stick out tho, so i can't buy a set. i can get by with a different offset in the rear but the 9's in the front is just too wide.

Im trying to get a set of chrome 17's off a cobra, I do like how they look.......

Rxmfn7 04-30-04 05:07 PM

Heres some pics of mine. I opted for the GT wheels instead of the Cobra ones because they are significantly lighter. I think they look better also, but looks are subjective.
