Yes, the S4 cars have side trim, while the S5 cars do not have side trim. The 10AE side trim is painted, so it looks somewhat like the S5 cars from a distance.

The S5 DO have side trim, it is body color and clips into holes in the body instead of being glued on like the S4 black trim. Know what you are talking about before posting.

I want to know if visually, does the 10 AE trim look like the S5 trim, or is the surface a different shape? In other words, if you took the side trim off of a S5 car and replaced it with 10 AE trim, would it match the front and rear bumper built in molding?

Or another example. If you took a 10 AE and replaced the front and rear bumper with one from a S5 would it match, or would it look different?

Thank you.

My friends and I have always called the S4 stuff "trim" and the S5 stuff "molding". Since you mentioned it, I looked in the S4 manual and it is also called "molding". Therefore, neither car has "trim".

I do know the answer to your question, and I also know a special thing about the front end when mixing & matching the series, but since you are acting like such an ass you can go fuck yourself. :D

Yes you are right Ted, the trim look nothing alike. The 10 AE looks just like the other black S4 trim just white. The S5 trim has a totally different surface contour.
