Another spacer question

I was thinking of putting some FD rims on my car and know I need some spacers that are like 3/4"-1" but the only place I found any they wanted $50 a piece plus I would need longer bolts I think. For an extra $200-300 plus the cost of buying the FD rims I can get some aftermarket rims. Where are the spacers NEEDED, just the front or the back too? Anyone have a place you can get spacers for cheap? Thanks.

i did a ton of research on this topic. There is considerable debate on the issue, but the majority of people I have talked to recomend the H&R 25mm spacer. Those are hub-centric so u DO NOT need longer wheel studs. However, those are pricey and they are the only safe way to go as far as spacers are concerned. With the wheel spacers and 3rd gen wheels, I have 225f and 245r.

So, u should either get aftermarket wheels with exact offset, of the H&R spacers.

Whats the cheapest you found the spacers for? I can prolly find some cheap FD wheels and I wanted them just to put something better on my for now but can't justify spending $200 for some damn spacers. Maybe $100.
