another member of the no ps club :-)

just took off the ps tonight.

talk about a difference. i like it, makes it feel more on rails, although making corners using my knees wont happen anymore

i got pulled over for weaving in my lane on the ride home. the guy thought i was drunk ;)

welcome to the club

Woohoo! Now try to talk these pitiful fools who still have it into taking it off ;)

i can understand why some would want to keep it on, because it makes a huge difference in how the car feels. she was like a different machine afterwards. i like it sofar, i cant wait for the next semi-wet day so i can see the difference in drifting at the local open parking lot.

now, next up, getting the damn dual pulley so i can remove the air pump and acv. friday's paycheck is going to be huge and im going on a spending spree then. :-)

i took my belt off for a day just to see what it would be like with out ps and it was great to drive
however getting out of driveways and parking lot driving was not fun at all, i bottomed out my car on a driveway casue i couldnt turn it like i would normally so i put the belt back on.
if it wasnt my daily driver i would definately take the whole ps system out but the way it was made it to difficult to drive around comfortably:(

I daily drive my rx7 with the ps rack plugged up without a hitch, as does my coworker :)

way to go. parking lot maneuvers are still a little tough after four months with the PS off but that's more likely due to my racing clutch ;) I can't wait until the next autocross so I can really test the steering at the limits. will report back later.

another thing that people may not like about the lack of PS, however, is that there is a lot of kickback on the wheel when running over bumps, etc. Kind of a dangerous thing in some situations but if you pay attention to the road it shouldn't be a problem.

Life is so much better without PS... just remove the pump, unplug the PS computer so you dont get the Beep..beep..beep

than plug the lines with proper bolts... be sure to keep enough fluid in there to lubricate everything.. and your all set

i HATE Ps
