i have the 12lbs. one from rx7.com

i dont know if its good for a n/a but i would suppose so. i have a 88 TII and it is night and day as far as acceleration goes. i can keep up with my pops 3rd gen. with this little light weight wonder. burn outs and drag racing are out the window though! but the quickness and feeling of losing 300 lbs. off the car more than make up for that! 1st gear is over way to quick but 2nd, 3rd and 4th pull unbelievably hard.

its a good mod for the rotary engine!

I have a 9.5# one on my '89 T2 and I love it. However, I don't drag race. If you do, go with a heavier flywheel. Mine is great for autoX and all around spirited driving. It does make the car feel like it lost more weight than just off of the flywheel. The engine definitely comes alive without all of that weight to spin up and down. It isn't that bad like most people want to believe it is. But it isn't for everybody as well. I weighed the pro's and con's of a very lightweight flywheel and figured it was the one for me. There are plenty of choices out there if you want some middle ground between the stock unit and the one I have.

I heard, as long as you launch properly, with either a TII or N/A, the aluminum flywheel is very beneficial for acceleration......just what I heard........
