alternater...supposed to be hot?
 

When I start my car the first thing that gets hot is the alternater is this right? I mean I just let my car run for about 15 minutes and the alternator was extremely hot is this normal? Thanks.

yes the alts all get hot. It is a part of the way it works. :-/
