Air pump
What kind of problems will be experienced by removing the air pump? And second, my car doesnt warm up, ever... I am using a 50/50 mix of antifreeze. I am in jacksonville right now and it isnt even cold here.(like 40 in the morning and 60-70 in the afternoon.) The car stays right above the C mark even if I let it warm up for 15 minutes and drive it for 3 hours... is this a problem??

removing your airpump will not give you any problems, just make sure you block off the ACV.
you just need a new thermostat |
the gauge for engine temp should be no more then 1/4 the way up from c anyways, mine dont move at all, dont be alarmed :)

Touch your radiator, is it freezing or is it really hot? if its hot, your temp sensor is messed up.

My radiator is warm... can keep my finger on it w/ no prob... and the reason I asked about the air pump is because my suffered from a pd fire not too long ago and while fixing it I encountered some starting problem and while messing around with the pulleys I discovered that my air pump was like frozen or something, so I took it off--but didnt block off. well, now I have the car running, but it idles around 1500rpm and I cant seem to bring it down. I was wondering if not blocking off the air pump was the source of the problem? I dont know anything about the vacuum system... only how the hose setup looks so I can hook it up and unhook it etc...
