Aftermarket coolant reservoir
Does HKS or Cusco make one? The reason im looking for one is id like to relocate mine behind the radiator because its currently underneath the shroud. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

I've seen a 20 oz soda bottle used as one before :) just make you own

gatorade bottle cost me like a dollar, I figured if it was good enough for nascar its good enough for me

Ghetto fix, yet somehow appealing....

Thanks for some of the suggestions guys. I was looking for something similar to my oil catch though in terms of build and quality.
|
grab a tiny one from a honda or something if you want it to look good/stock, otherwise i vote gatorade

moroso makes coolant overflow tanks, you can find them @ summit or jegs.

There's bound to be a few aftermarket generic replacements, or you could look in a few other engine bays until you find one that suits, then either buy it new from the dealer or check out a wrecker. Plastic always looks shitty when old, so the newer the better. ;)

since we are on the subject, how fast will a 1qt oil catch can fill up if I connect it to my PCV line? Just a ball park figure. Will I have to drain it once a week, once a month, once every 6 months?
|
More likely never.

Thanks for the hints. I'll keep my eyes open for the moroso one.

Thanks for the suggestions again. But im looking for a metal reservoir replacement. Probably moroso's.

Ni5mo180SX,
It may be difficult to find a metal coolant reservoir tank. There is a reason why they usually are made of plastic. Heat. Metal conducts heat. And a metal coolant reservoir tank will absorb the heat from your engine bay and also retain the heat from the coolant itself. I did find this metal overflow tank by Summit. http://store.summitracing.com/produc...earchtype=ecat |
