After Boosting, not returning to "Closed Loop"

A few of you may have been reading my previous threads. I have had trouble getting my car to go into "closed loop" under cruise. I have changed the obviuos, New 02, cleaned wire to make sure no contact with shielding. Checked my hoses. Fixed a small Air pump problem. Car is almost back to stock for smog reasons. Almost meaning, I have a Fresh T2 Street Port, Apexi Dual N1 Exhaust.

Anyhoooo....
I went and tore the top end apart and put it back together. Started it up, had to adjust the TPS, IDLE, Timming. After working that out went for a drive and wala, closed loop mode on. As soon as I gave it boost and let off, it never went back into closed loop mode. The digital reader read rich, .75V or so, and my AFM Gauge read two-three LED's into the rich field.

Has anybody else had this problem?

Thanks guys,
Chris

And that's going to help how?

Wankler, the ECU chooses when to go into closed-loop based on info from numerous sensors. It might pay to check the condition of all the ECU inputs by backprobing the ECU wiring and comparing the measured voltages with the info in the FSM EFI chapter.
