afm question
so a forum member said my afm is to close to the tb how far away should i have it 20" maybe? would vibration cause a bad reading and cause the engine to run rough? aso it has hesitation when i try to give a little gas this is probaly from my settings being out of wak
i finally got the engine to idel by messing with the tps and varible resistor settings the resistor wa maxed out so i backed it off a little someone has messed with it before. need to look in the manual for those settings heres a vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCwMdPi7KLM heres my thread https://www.rx7club.com/old-school-other-rotary-63/going-old-skool-got-repu-653888/ thanks chris |
I've seen other setups that were as close as yours and (reputedly) they worked fine.
The S4 series AFM seems to be very sensitive to being level and vibration free, so I'd look into that first. |
ok thank you clokker i will try get it more stable with some braces or somthin .
so your saying with it being shakin it will cause the engine to run rough etc. cheers chris |
The flapper door moves around fairly easily, so changes in orientation mean gravity affects it differently, and vibration can move it as well.
