advice on idle

ok so i was having the low idle problem except it would idle when warm at about .2 well i figured that the TPS was going bad so i replaced it and tried to adjust it, now it wont hold an idle when it is warm. ive searched all the possibilities but cant figure anything out........ the weird thing about it is that it will hold a perfect idle at 1 when i first start it in the morning (with help from the cold start assist??).........i cant figure this out because i tried to set the TPS But the Idle adjust screw had no effect. ( i also tried 2 different TPSs)..... anyone have any advice on what to check next.

also the BAC is disconnected and im about to block it off because the wires are split to hell

Depending of what year the TII is?. The S4 have an idle screw on the BAC itself. So if you have a S4 you need the BAC valve to control idle. Have you checked the timing?

will only hold an idle at 2k RPMs?

if so then you either have a decent sized vacuum leak, in which case the engine would probably stall out unless you have the fuel pump test connected jumpered. if not then do a compression test, it is possible you have low compression on one or more rotor faces. if the latter then a carb cleaner treatment may help if it is just sticky apex or side seals.

^^no it did idle at .2 not 2K as in less than 1K...now it wont hold an idle at all... i might try to hook the BAC back up cause it is an s4...anyone have a diagram of how the wires are supposed to look when connected to the s4 BAC??

Edit....i know it is on a FSM but i cant find it...anyone have a link to where i can download one??
