Additional Injectors

I've all ways been a carb guy, but I'm considering adding an additional injector into the charge pipe ike you see with the old greddy kits. What do you use to control the additional injector? Remember I'm running a blowthrough carb so I allready have EFI fuel pressure and such so that isn't an issue. I'm considering using a bosch mechanical injector from old VW's that would only opens with a WOT switch. That way I can run smaller jets in the carb for better gas mileage, but still have fuel on demand when I need it. Any information on that, or ways to control two high impedance injectors would be great.

I want to add a eaton m90 supercharger to my mikuni 44 so Im interested in this too. The Mikuni IMO is the best for the street with stock porting but its too small to handle the fuel demand with boost at high RPM

Use a Megasquirt.

doesn't megasquirt require TPS?

No.

hks makes an additional injector controller, it comes with its own pressure sensor. Its very easy to use.

Im very interested in this also. Can you just mount two injectors where the primarys were?

Hyper4mance2k 10-14-06 04:08 PM

I can mount two injectors where the primary's or secondaries were. I forgot about that. LOL!!! I've got a plug kit in the primarys, and just some jb weld and a brass stop plug in the secondaries. Gawd I'm a flake sometimes. I was trying to think of where I'd put them. LOL! I knew I should not have thrown away the fuel rails.
