Adding a turbo?

Can anybody tell me why people are doing T2 conversions isntead of adding a turbo kit on the NA, or maybe show me where the thread is if there is one on why u cant add a turbo to an NA or whatever, i cant find it

eViLRotor 07-22-03 08:40 AM

It can be done.

But what do you think sounds easier. Dropping a TII engine into the car, or converting an NA engine to turbo...?

BTW, there is a huge thread on NA to Conversions, for both 'methods'.

The only way you can't find it, is if you don't look.

psh i did look but i thought there was a difference between converting to a T2 and addingn a turbo.

meehow 07-22-03 09:36 AM

there is a difference. one is a drop the other would require a bolt-on, which isn't currently available unless you it custom made

This is probably the single most covered topic in this forum. Exponential amounts of information available (much of it on NA turbo installs by me). If you didn't find, you didn't look. In the future, read the FAQ at the top of this forum, and search...

Settle down aaron I already found it, I looked through the FAQ and i thought i only saw the whole conversion but the other was near it. I even watched your cute little videos.

Aaron and his cute little video had helped hundreds of members decided if they want to go with n/a turbo bolt-on. Also, Aaron proved to others that it can be done. He was nice enough to share his hard work and intelligence to provide information to people like you who don't take the time to research.

So stop being a baby and do the research.
