Add Coolant light....
 

Mine was On cause a leak in the water pump gasket. I decided to change the pump to be safe and replaced it with a new one including gasket. Put silicon between gasket-pump, gasket block. Seal is perfect. The thing is, the light is still on. Any ideas what could this be?

Did you try bleeding your coolant system?

Have you checked the level of the coolant reservoir and coolant neck?

My guess would be that you need to add coolant.

Try bleeding the system to remove any air bubbles.

Or, the sensor could be bad. Jumper the wire to ground and see if the buzzer turns off. If it does, replace the sensor (assuming you have topped up the coolant and bled).

i think it sounds like a faulty sensor as well..

you must drain... I have the same symptom and the system have buble.......

every morning I heard this sound for 3 days, endweek refill with full coolant!

How do you bleed the system? This is my first rotary and have no idea about mechanics. I changed the WP cause it was easy. What cable i need to jump?......

Yes, I added the coolant trough those two parts. I can't add trough the radiator cause mine is a 3 line one and is sealed.

what year is your car?? i kno 86 and 87s have only one cap right next to the thermostat. then there is a bleeder screw on the actual radiator (right next to where the radiator hose goes into the radiator).....if you have a 86 or 87, unscrew the little plastic screw (when the engines cold) and fill the coolant until coolant comes out where the little screw was. tighten the screw and you should be good.

i had the same problem, everyone is right about bleeding the system, but after i bled mine the light stayed on. I bled it again and disconnected the negative battery terminal for a bit. Hooked it back up and BINGO!!! If you're sure it's bled properly, give that a try.

y this happen? any clue? so it can be preventable

Tnks, I will look at it on Wednesday to see if the Rad had that screw, I think the rad my car has is not stock... Is an 86 with 87 J-Spec Turbo engine..

This is the only screw i saw on the radiator. I want confirmation that this is the one I need to unscrew...

it's on the Neck of the Radiator..X marks the spot.

that's the only "neck" my rad has. Doesn't have the conventional neck that other radiators have. If water need to be added to the rad, that's the only place were to... I will try that screw anyway. Tnks all. I will let know the results

iono my coolant is going bad too, 160k miles and i added antifreeze 50/50 but iono did i add it too full, it is leaking? any one know whats going on?
