ACV and split air pipe idea
 

My engine should be coming soon and when I put it in the car I'm not going to run any emmissions equipment.
However, I don't want to lose the catalytic converter just yet.
Anyone ever just bypass the ACV and run the hose from the air pump straight to the cat?
Do you see any problems with doing this?

well, i dont see why it wouldnt work so I'll just go ahead and do it

Should work fine.
Chuck the cats as soon as you can though.
Thats going to give you a big jump in power too.

just wanna wait a little while before i spend the money on a pipe to make sure i get it runnin right and everything
