93 Prelude Si (Vtech) vs 1990 GXL

Well my friend has a Prelude and we where getting on the highway (515). I had 1st gear wound out to about 4,000rpms and we beeped horns three times and gunned it. He smoked me so bad it wasn't even funny. I felt so ashamed : (. I think he has like 195bhp. What are some mods that i could get to where i would beat him!

u starting the race at about 4000rpms?? well if u did thats about the right spot to start at. Race from a stand still and see what happens.

Also are u sure its a 1993?? cause they only have 160hp and the vtec came out in 94 for the lude with 190hp.

i think thats right.

you seem a little confused on the lude. There are 3 models in the entire line: the S, the si, and the vtec.
The S is slow as balls period. The si is a mid-high 15 second car. The vtec is one of the fastest fwd hondas ever produced. Many people can pull 14.8 and 14.9's out of them bone stock. The vtec model began in 93. Yes some hondas are pretty quick :)
