929 master cylinder question

I picked up a Bendix brand 929 master cylinder, but the line fittings come nowhere near fitting, not to mention it is lacking one brake line fitting.

So I was wondering if there is a difference between the master cylinders for a 929 ABS car and non-ABS car.

I have a non-ABS RX-7, so it stands to reason that I'd want to get the non-ABS 929 master cylinder, correct??

Also, if someone has the correct Bendix part#, that would help out tremendously.

yah, the normal brake system on a 929 is different than a non-abs rx-7. The rx7's left front brake line goes right to the master instead of the the proportioning valve. Thus, the extra fitting on the rx7 master.

So to do the job correctly, I'd want to get the NON-ABS 929 master cylinder??

no, even the non-abs 929 master is different. Not enough outputs.

Sorry if I seem rude but is there some reason you don't just buy a RX-7 part?

Is the circled line/fitting the one you had to reshape?

Is the fitting that attaches the brake line to the master cylinder a factory part??

It appears with that fitting or adapter, you were able to get two brake lines to run into one of the master cylinder's ports, correct?

1) My MC is leaking and needs to be replaced anyway.

2) I'm planning for the future. I plan on getting K2RD's upgraded front brake kit, and could use the extra volume capacity afforded by the 929 master cylinder.

Two birds with one stone.

my cym has ABS. The 929 master is an almost direct bolt on for an ABS equipped FC. A non-abs FC has 3 output. 2 go to the proportioning valve, the other to the drivers side front brake caliper. A non-abs and abs 929 master only has 2 outputs.
Im in the process of changing from abs to non-abs in my black fc. And have both an abs and non-abs rx7 master and both 929 masters. So im working on it. =]
