89-91 turbo II indiglo gauges

Just won a auction on ebay for some indiglo gauges for a 89-91 turbo II. Been looking for them for a while now to completment the apexi indiglo gauge. Just wondering if anyone has installed a set yet. I think it should be pretty easy, but i would like to see what they look like before i install. They should a arrive in like a week or so, and i will try to get pictures up if no one posts any. Just thought i would let people know if they are looking for indiglo gauges they have them on ebay.

How much did you get them for. It seems cool but when you think about it, they are a pain in the ass.

Josepi 06-13-02 07:24 AM

They are going for around 50 on ebay...

Yeah. I'm waiting until he gets the reverse indiglo gagues in the 89-91 years as well.

Great upgrades for sure :) Also check out the glowing neadle kits as well.

but are they dimmable????

I don't want a great big night light on my dash while driving at night, I just want enough light to see the needles.

Where can we get the glowing needles? I remember seeing a website for them...but from what I remember they didn't have them for 1990 TII's.

vaughnc 06-13-02 02:21 PM

Yeah I was trying to find them on ebay to post here, but the seller isn't around right now.

I'll try digging into past auctions later and see if I can find him.

It has two color settings.....here is the auction i won http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...em=1834431512. I think they were 57 shipped i cant wait to see how they look....and if you guys find red needles that glow like the apexi gauge i would love to buy some.

88TurboII 06-14-02 01:31 AM

I have them on my 88 anniv. Turbo II. Mine can be dimmed, and have two colors. I also bought them off ebay, so it's probably the same stuff.

A simple install, and a nice touch. I used to have a white face kit, but like the indiglo set much better. They look/work a lot like the guages on a 2002 Jeep overland.

I like the way they look. I don't think they're :gay: at all. Well, at least that answered one of my questions. When I get some cash & I finish purchasing my radar detector & the other important stuff, I'll get one of those.

just a tip

if you tap into the dimmer switch for a power it is better for them and you will get more life from.:D :D

jg1bad10th 06-14-02 08:55 PM

Cool !I was planning on getting some for my 10th but was waiting to see some posts on how they looked at night. If anyone could post some picks at night that would be a great help.

rx74prez 06-15-02 08:58 PM

hey i just got them installed today i will try to get some pictures up i dont have a digital camera so it might be a few days. they come with their own dimmer switch and can be adjusted to any light level. quality is good, easy to install, definately get them if you want indiglos.

i have a set in my car but it's a bitch to get the needles working properly. when i installed it the first time the temp and oil pressure gauges weren't working.... took it apart and then only the oil pressure gauge worked.... it was such a headache that i gave up. other than that they look sweet!

fc3s.org 06-18-02 08:56 AM

I just picked up a set of the 89-91 N/A ones for my vert. I will be doing a write-up including installation instructions and lots of pictures in the day and night. I'll post when they get here and when I have them installed and the write-up is done.
