88 Tps

Hey all.. i was looking into buyin this 88 FC3 wit a rebuilt tranny wit 15k on it, not sure if its auto or manual, however its described to be in real good runnin order except for the fact that it needs a TPS... how much of a pain is it to istall, and the TPS wouldnt jus happen to be the same from a 88 626 would it? i know thas a weird question, but there r some things under the hood of a RX7 that ill fit my 626, mostly sensors r all iv swapped to my 6, but i jus thought id ask since i have several new and used TPS's for my 626 in the trunk.. but anyhow the askin price is $500 for the car.. should i get it and whats the deal wit the TPS

Well, if its an N/A, the TPS is a breeze to replace

No...you'll have to adjust It. Whenever you replace or remove thr TPS you should always adjust It.

There a dime a dozen at the wrecking yards as well. I hear that they are pricey little buggers from the dealership.

yeah but adjusting it is easy as shit just turn a screw. just make yourself a little check light or if you have a fuel computer you can adjust it using that. still take 5 min. I had to change mine last week
