88 fuel injector question, low ohm vs high ohm

i bought some cleaned and flowed fuel injecors on line for my 88 vert. I went to put them in and the plug in's are different the tab on the bottom of the plug's are in the middle instead of on the side. i ohmed them and they are low ohm and i need big ohm inj's, does anyone know if they will work instead of the b ig ohm ?? thanks in advance for your help, ted

you can wire a resistor on one of the lines to each low ohm injector to make them work on you high ohm signal...

But really, you should just get the proper injectors.

Law is R=E/I (Ohm's Law) . The low ohmage injectors draw more current than the high ohm injectors. The resistance value of the series resistor must be calculated for total resistance and wattage. The problem is that the low ohm injectors need more current to drive them. The electronics that drive the high ohmage injector cannot handle the current demands of low ohmage ones. (What did he say?) Get the proper injectors.
