87 gxl odd starting problem

the car won't start....but if i throw gas down the motor it will start for a moment.......i checked the fuel ect......and there is gas all the way up to the secondary injectors......
So i am guessing the there is somthing wrong with the primary injectors, cause there is no gas coming out, or the ECU, or the wires going between....
Is there anything i am not thinking of ? because it looks like a PAIN...to take the primary injectors out..

Also i saw that you can reset the ECU buy i think taking off the neg battery lead and holding the brake pedel for at least a min.....but that seems way to simple.

BC? Where are you located exactly? Perhaps I can offer some personal adivice and help.
Are you sure it is lack fuel causing your starting probs?

well i don't think it is flooding and there is spark cause the gas down the throat will start it for a moment

i am not to worried about it i am putting the guts of my TII into the GXL body i just wanted the engine running for when i sell it btw it is forsale

if you have an engine with good compression(do a compression test), and are doing a TII swap, who gives a f*ck if it starts?

Don't bother to "reset" the ECU. This doesn't work on any car older than an 89. If you just want to get it started, jumper the yellow connector on the passenger side of the engine bay, front of shock tower (approx.). You should hear the fuel pump running. If you do, try and start it. If you don't, post back to the forum and we'll try and get it working.
