86 n/a block

anyone have a close estimate for the size of this
im lookin for the smallest dimensions
an 86 n/a block with the bare minimum to run
it doesnt need an exhaust or emissions etc...
im tryin to make it as small as possible

well, you need some form of intake. For size sake a carb would be the easiest. Once you get a carb you can yank all the emissions off and block it. That usually vastly slims up the motor.

alright how do u go about setting up a carb on a
13b other then that
what r other options and or dimensions

13BNUT 04-05-06 03:32 PM

what are you planning on using it for?

Michelob779 04-05-06 05:06 PM

i want to use my brothers old honda
motor cycle frame
and see if its anywhere near possible
to fit my n/a block on it

the whole bike mechanically intact
but the engine is fucked
so i thought hes not doin anythin with it
so....

13BNUT 04-06-06 12:04 PM

Damn that is interesting but I can't see it working, but then again anything is possible.
Good Luck, and post lots of pics when you do your build up.

i think the 13b will be too big, you'd still have to fit a tranny of somesort on there

Michelob779 04-07-06 11:16 AM

i could try and mount it sideways
and then match up a small motorcycle tranny to it
but i dont kno much about
the bikes just what ive seen on
american chopper .......
but anyways the only reason i even considered this was because
i have a friend that wants to buy my 86 n/a and hes dropping
a 350 in so he doesnt care if i take the engine and tranny
so i wanted to put it to good use
if not i might try and sell
it well see
maybe when or if i sell the car i can take the block and check to see
if its anywhere close to fitting
