750cc high impedance injectors
Quick question. RC engineering sells high imp. 750cc (saturated) injectors. Would these work on an Rtek 1.7ECU (N333 88 S4 turbo)? I have never heard of anyone using these, and I think it would be easier, and probably better than wiring in a resistor with low impedance injector like the greddy 720's.

anyone??? High imp. (saturated) 750cc injectors and no one has ever used these before?

i would imagine they would work fine,
but!! the injector flow rate is a tad higher, meaning you will run a tad rich. shouldnt mess things up too bad tho... if anything put you a bit more on the safe side id imagine. |
Thanks.
I thought they would, I was just wondering if any one else has used them before. |
i actually sent an email to the rtek peeps about this ... i'll post the response
"Yes, it will definitely run rich and you'll probably get some crappy gas mileage. The only way to fix it would be with an AFC....or Rtek v2.0 when it comes out." that a direct copy and paste of thier response .. i asked them the exact same question that you asked here ... hope that helps |
adding in the cost of installing an AFC and knowing how to adjust it right or having someone else tune it, it seems like a better idea to go with the correct size injectors.... or just live with things being too rich....
