6 grand wall
i've searched and keep getting the same things come up........ TPS...... but anyways heres the deal.. i got an 88 turbo 2, its got s5 internals, otherwise stock engine wise...
well a few weeks ago it started to act up.... whenever i try to rev it out it wont. it hits about 6 grand and then it seems like it hits a wall and wont rev past, i noticed that from third to fourth it also hesitates around 4 grand and then hits the 6 grand wall.... so i tried to set the tps with the led light method and nothing, so i got a new tps and set it led style and still the same thing. the injectors are definately leaking as its flooding everytime i shut it off.... could that be an issue? just wondering if anyone has any ideas besides "check your tps".... thanks in advance.... oh yeah, its still at stock boost... |
Check for 3800 hesitation. It sounds like you may have multiple problems going on here. It's also always good to check THOROUGHLY for vacuum leaks. I have used an intake pressurizing tool that only cost ~$25, there is simply no comparison between using that and some other method that requires you to listen while the motor is running.

where did you get that at? i'm still learning, so whats the method with that to find leaks?
